Thread: Gamefly or other Video Game Rental?

I've been a PC gamer most my life. I broke down and purchased the 80gb PS3 with MGS4. I was wondering if some of you use one of the video game rental companies? I see Gamefly gets good reviews but I figured I'd ask some of the experts here on the boards.

I've been a member for over 4 years and have no complaints, I would get my games within 2 to 3 days of returning a game, sometimes even faster. I live in the Pasadena area and they have a distribution center in Inglewood, so if you are near there you will get a quick turnaround time. Like anything test them out with a free trial and go from there, good luck

always worked great for me. I've had them for almost 2 years now, I think.

Several of my coworkers have Gamefly and I haven't heard a complaint yet.

Ive never had a problem w/ gamefly... and since you can keep the games as long as you want, there really isnt any real need to spend $60 on a game that your gonna get tired of after a month of playing it.

Only problem I have had with Gamefly is they don't get enough of the titles as soon as they come out, so if you want to play a newly released game you are SOL.

If you don't mind waiting for the initial rush to die down, it's fine.

I had Gamefly, no problems whatsoever with the service, but ended up cancelling because all I really ever play is NHL 08 (and soon 09 )

I noticed that from when you're on Live. Of course, I bought GTA IV, played it for an hour or two, and I haven't touched it since. I always go back to NHL 08.
