:woot: I have been wanting to get a turtle beach headset as well.
my son uses them and you can here everything a hundred times better,he says he can hear were people are at, no sneaking up on him
I have considered buying one but it is a little too pricey for me.
Not sure if its worth it for a gaming headset...maybe I'm just not hardcore enough.
I was looking at some of the cheaper ones for me, but I do not like the way it is set up with the cords strewn all about. My couch is pretty far from my TV so I would have to move furniture to play games with it.
I'm liking it a lot, some good DSP options, comfortable on the head and the mic is top notch and designed well.
I did have to turn off Multiple AV Out settings on the PS3 so the only output is to the headsets. It may have just been me but I thought I was getting a little lag in gameplay when both HDMI and the Optical were engaged.
Haven't tried listening to a 7.1 BR movie yet as I have a separate BR player for movies going to the home theater (5.1).
Same ones I use. You can hear guys sneaking up behind you wiith these.
Which reminds me.... DOUBLE XP WEEKEND!!
Now i want to get headsets for my nephew and cousin but don't want to spend the premium price of the PX5's haha.
Staying with Turtle Beach since I don't like the mic design of the Tritons and in the $100-$150 range.
I'm looking at PX3 (Re-Chargeable Wireless with DSP) or DPX21 (7.1 Wired with DSP).
