Thread: Guild Wars 2

The game is about to come out later this week. August 25th if you Pre-Purchase the game, or August 28th for anyone else who does not. I already have my game and I'll be there on Sat! I'm going to make an Engineer, and a Necromancer to start with. Anyone else here planning on playing Guild Wars 2?

Here is the races video. Pretty cool stuff, and they all have personal story lines.

Yes, will be in on saturday, they even said they might open the servers up to 3 hours early to test things out and make sure it's rock solid for launch day!

Blah! I was at work during this stress test lol. How did it go btw? Only two more days before people can start playing the game!

I got it. Played a little this weekend. Different feel for sure. Still trying to understand how everything works and how I "progress" in terms of zones and story. Seems difficult to find things though (crafting trainers for instance) and character movement is a little wonky at times too. Having fun at least though and not having to pay a certain amount per month is nice.
