That's fine with me.
With games like this I like a good, short campaign followed by engaging and addicting multilayer.
I'll be picking up my copy tomorrow.

Multiplayer looks interesting
First reviews coming out are looking great:

THQ is not really known for fps games. I've only seen a couple listed on wikipedia. Kaos has only made 1 previous game so we'll see if they used their 2 year dev time wisely.

The last one was Metro 2033, which got great reviews and was developed by a new studio in Russia. Kaos previously developed Frontlines, which was received by mixed reviews at the time. I liked it quite a bit, but may have been a bit biased since I was handling the media advertising for THQ at the time. A lot of the early reviews fro Homefront say the single-player is quite short and multi-player is where's it's at, which is very similar to what people said about Frontlines.
IGN gave Homefront a 7/10 today, haven't read the full review yet. Gamespot will likely have their review in the next day or two. I've never been a big multi-player guy, so when the single-player is short it makes it tough to shell out $60 for a game.
Picked up my copy and have played about 2hrs of the solo campaign (so I guess according to reviews, i'm about halfway).
Anyways, the story is unbelievable so far and really draws you in. The graphics/mechanics/animations are a little iffy at times but I am going to accredit this to the lower budget that KAOS probably had. Even with these minor nuances it has still be a great ride so far. Controls are mirror image of CoD as are is the overall feel of the game.
The servers are down right now due to "unexpected traffic" so I haven't had a chance to play online yet but when I do I'll report back.
Played around an hour last night. Not bad, but the story and writing (eek!). And a lot of "follow" too. Lol
