Not a bad choice, if you already have a Blu-ray player. I have both at home. I prefer to play games online on Xbox Live, and I prefer to watch Blu-rays and DVD's (up-rezzed to 1080i) on the PS3.

Although last night, I had a good session of Rock Band 2 online on the PS3 with a friend of mine. I only have one "friend" on my PS3 though. Many more friends on Xbox Live.

RROD is in the past - Microsoft finally fixed those issues. Have fun with it!
