There are a crap load of down loadable games. Make sure that you have proper ventilation and get the Gold sub for XBox Live. Get a good supply of re-chargeable AA batteries. I save the games that I play a lot onto the HD. It should lower your chances of RROD.
Get used games at Gamestop.
