I second Metal Gear Solid 4, good stuff.
I really like Fallout 3 for a hybrid FPS and RPG feel.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I plan on increasing my game library sooner rather than later with all this new found knowledge.

I second this...Fallout 3 is a solid game. Game of the Year addition comes out soon, so you might want to wait for that, or wait until the price on the orignal game drops.

If your PS3 is backwards compatible and you haven't played the first 3 Metal Gear games, get them. The Metal Gear series is ****ing AMAZING!! Then, once you've played through them, get Metal Gear Solid 4. Best game on PS3.

Another good platformer is Infamous. Graphics and gameplay are amazing.

As far as cross-platform games, I'd recommend Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, and Grand Theft Auto 4.

uncharted, Drakes fortune. $15 or $20.

Just saw that IGN gave Uncharted 2 Among Thieves (Sequel to Drake's Fortune) a 9.5 out of 10 rating.

Sounds like I need to pony up 20.00$ to get Drake's Fortune, then wait for the price on Among Thieves to drop.

As far as I know, these titles are exclusive to PS3 owners.

COD kicks butt....Great game

Ratchet & Clank is a lot of fun and the sequel comes out in October.
