So my advice helped? I wanted to find an image of the barcode sticker to show where exactly it'd say, but I couldn't find one. I'd wait for the Falcons, just in case, I bought a Zephyr a couple weeks ago because I couldn't wait. Another thing too: make sure it says that it has an HDMI port on the box.

I've heard that you should avoid the intercooler AT ALL COSTS.

I don't feel like doing the research right now, but if you are thinking about buying one, at least perform a google search before.

I could be wrong, but the impression that I get is that they make the problem worse, and because they are a third party item, can void your warranty.

Actually, it does make it worse. One theory as to the horrendous fail rates of the hardware is the 360 and the 360's power supply's inability to cope with power fluctuations. The intercooler will draw power from the powersupply and actually make the problem worse, completely offsetting any gains you'd have from running a lower temperature. Also, should your 360 fail while using an intercooler, it could void your warranty since a 3rd party product could be responsible for your loss of hardware; That's why I only advocate using 1st party hardware from Microsoft, because if ANYTHING breaks, you can tell them that you were using all their hardware.

The Intercooler is the very reason why I own a refurbished 360 now. Fortunately for me, my unit didn't display any "burn marks" on the 360's power connector, so M$ replaced it. If they receive any units that have burn marks, they'll send it back.

My patience paid off. Now it came with 2 games for the same price as before. Allegedly, I have the 65nm chipset which is supposed to run much cooler.

The game pads definitely take some getting used to. I was playing the COD 3 demo & I kept pulling up the binoculars on accident.

In time, you'll find the 360 controllers to be much better than anything Sony could come up with. I HATE my PS3 controller. Maybe in the future, I'll try this mod.

My only problem with the Xbox controller are the shoulder bumpers/buttons. They are a pain in the ass to reach sometimes.

It's not a Sony thing. It's more that I'm used to a keyboard & mouse, so I have to get comfortable with looking & aiming with my thumb.
