Extremely true. 99% of games made after movies (especially blockbuster ones) are usually rushed, is word for word with the script or has nothing to do with the script, and no objective other than the company cashing in on the popularity of the film. They are usually played by 5 year olds who really liked the movie and don't overthink what they are playing. I have never once rented a game modeled after a movie to a person over the age of like 11.

Got to agree with Bandit...with the exception of the Spiderman 2 movie adaption. That game rocked. The problem with movie games is that they add in **** that never happened in the movie..and usually the gameplay blows.

Spiderman 2 was awesome. I alos enjoyed Star wars ROTS the game.

The Chronicles of Riddick on the original Xbox is supposed to be great. I have a copy but I have yet to play it so I can't confirm. Of course The Chronicles of Riddick wasn't a blockbuster but that hardly matters.
