no multiplayer according to what I read

The gameplay and graphics looked familiar, then I realized the team behind this is the same as Mafia II. The map radar, controls and playboy pin-ups look the same.

hopefully they've upgraded it. Love Rockstar but hated the demo of Mafia II

Very cool, and I think L.A. Noire will be one of the best games of the year. Even tho it has a GTA look and feel to it haha

2K Czech did Mafia II, Team Bondi in Australia is doing LA Noire.

I concede the point.

Take Two owns 2K and Rockstar. Team Bondi is "working with" Rockstar wouldn't shock me if they shared stuff

the mapping, some of the controls and some of the things (pinups you can find in game) are lifted almost directly it looks like.

Have this pre-ordered @ Gamestop/EB. There's really no multiplayer? I might need to move it over to another title...

This just became the first video game to enter a film festival!

I've been playing GTA IV a lot lately, so I have no problem with this game being quite similar. I'm really starting to enjoy these games Rockstar has been putting out, and this one looks to be no different
