This will be my first PS3 game as I preordered and my system will be here tomorrow. I'm giddy with excitement.

Haha, everyone tells me that. Maybe it's just me, but my Standard TV is still working just fine. Doesn't seem right to replace it just because. =\

What's weird is that every game I've played have been fine on my regular TV. It was only Red Dead Redemption that cut off like 25% of my screen. It really bugged me because I had no problem at all with GTAIV. I could see everything fine. But then for RDR, I couldn't see half of my health bar and that really made my enjoyment of the game go down in a hurry.

Other than that, I really have no problem. But since L.A. Noire is Rockstar again.. I'm just hoping that I don't get the same issue I did with RDR. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

More reviews have come out... 9.0 at gamespot, A at 1Up, 5/5 at G4, 9/10 at GameRadar.

Not too unusual as I just hooked up an HDTV for the first time 2 weeks ago. I can say I can't believe the improvement and I havent even messed around with the settings. Figured I'd start everything together.

$15 gift card at Best Buy and I just sold the Sharpshooter code for $20. Can't wait to play this $25 game tomorrow!
