Has anyone figured out the deal with Free Roam yet? Darrin said it might be something that gets unlocked, but I can't find any details about it.
My friend in LA got an email from amazon that the plane had mechanical issues as being the reason he didn't get his copy today. I'm in San Diego but never got the email or the game...UPS usually shows up for me around 12 noon.
Seriously. It's UPS that screwed up, not Amazon.
Phoenix, AZ, United States 05/16/2011 11:30 P.M. A flight delay occurred because of mechanical reasons.

Impressed so far, even the little details are well done, like the street markings, yellow lines weren't mandated until 1971.
Played for almost 2 hours tonight. Very intriguing so far. Agree about really nice details thru the game and graphics are nice. The facial stuff, as some reviews have said, is a bit eerie at first. It's very hard to explain until you see it. The faces aren't quite as crisp as real life but the lips/cheeks/expressions/etc. are more life like then anything I've ever seen in a game before. It does take a little bit to get used to reading the facial expressions but so far its not too bad. I have to imagine as you get later in the game it gets even harder to figure out who is telling the truth and who is lying
It does go slow at first when you're walking around investigating for clues.. imagine a game l ike fallout 3 where you are rummaging thru everything to find stuff that can help. I can see this getting redundant a bit, but at the same time as the game goes on you will probably get better at seraching for clues.
It's fun to question people and go about being a detective. I hope it stays fresh throughout the game but after about 2 hours i dig it.
