Thread: LGK NHL 08 360 League

I noticed some of us have already completed season games... 'sup with that?

It took me a little while, but I figured out how to have "preseason" unranked games. You just have to start up a game yourself and select 'private' on the options menu, but still...

If we're not starting the league for a while, would it be worthwhile for us to create an LGK lobby when we sign on? That way, it's a little easier to find eachother and play some preseason games... just a thought.

I think we're gonna' have to start without some others initially. I won't be in for a regular season game until next weekend, I think. (FF takes care of this weekend.)

To be fair, I could have easily lost my game with you and both games with Watti. Watti completely dominated me in puck possession by at least 2:1.

Once we get this up and running I think it's going to be a great little league.

A lot of questions...sorry.

How the league works is we all have 1 game against every team. 22 games total. When the season starts we need to play at least 1 game per week. There's no set time or date or even opponent for you each week. Its much more casual than that. You set up the match. You pick the time. You pick the opponent.

What I feel we should do is try to keep everybody close together in terms of total games played. Maybe we can start a list of all the teams who have played 1 game during the week that way those players can wait for everyone to catch up before they move ahead.

Since people have already started league play, regardless of how it happened, we should keep a log. So far these teams have played games:

OrangePuck vs. dd89 2-3
dd89 vs. Cross Traffic 5-1
OrangePuck vs. Deadbolt11 1-5

So that means, OrangePuck, Decker89, Cross Traffic, Die Radio Die have all played their week 1 games.

OrangePuck and Decker89 have already played their week 2 games as well.
