I'm interested in any wrestling game, really. I even got some enjoyment from TNA Impact, though had I paid more than $20 for it (I paid $10, plus it was buy 1, get 1 free) I would have been disappointed.
The AAA game must be better than that one. Maybe we'll get cut scenes of wrestlers in business casual attire plus masks having conversations at open-air diners!
I take it you've seen those cheesy Mexican movies from the '60s-80s ? The ones where they fight vampires, drug lords and stuff. They would be in Acapulco with some lovely ladies by the pool in their mask. MASK ! Or they'd be in a courtroom, suit and tie on again with mask. In Mexico, the tradition of the mask is so sacred that some luchadores have even been buried in their masks. Then there are guys like Rey Mysterio who come outside of the arena without their masks and hit on girls I am with, with no regard for my gringo feelings.
I know what you mean. I was soooo PO'ed with Rey Misterio when he came back with his mask. Once you lose it, it's over with. No way the old school legends would have done that. When have you met Rey Misterio ?
Look for clips of old Blue Demon, El Santo and Mil Mascaras movies. Corny and horrible but damn it, I watched them.
