Madden 08 Thread
Just bought the game at the Circuit City in Burbank and surprisingly, there was a lot left at the counter. Looking forward to see how the game plays and what kind of upgrade it will be over 07.

PS3 or X360?
I'm most likely going to give it a rental, then decide if I'm gonna buy it.

Got it for the 360. I must admit that it took me a while to get used to the new features, but i like it. A lot of the icons remind me of old hockey games in the sense that it would show what type of players are on the field.
Overall i think that this is a cool game but if you are starting from scratch, this game is harder to learn than from 07. Players run funny but the hits seem to be a lot harder. There are a few glitches that i did run into like when Mike Minter (who by the way is retired) was in the air and his body turned 180 degrees and flew another five yards to make a tackle.

Another problem a lot of people have encountered is the outrageous number of fumbles in one game.

Fumbles and interceptions are occurring often.

Try playing in All Madden mode. That usually remedies some of the fumbles and interceptions (atleast if you're not playing against the computer)

Played for an hour last night.
It was fumbletastic.

You can't adjust the settings anymore??

turn off the DeShaun Foster feature in advanced settings to reduce fumbles.
