don't usually bother with my e-mail, so I'm going to just respond here.
I was in 2 online franchises for Madden 10, and one is returning for Madden 11 (all 32 teams!). I'm definitely down for this if it gets going.
I'm a Packers fan, but since I use them in the other league and in all offline modes, I'd like to try out the Chargers, Saints, or... hell, I don't know. Not like you said anything about calling teams, anyway.
My gamertag is X Matt Young X.

How does this work? I haven't bought a Madden game since 07, but picked up 11 yesterday. I might be interested...

You have to redeem your Online Pass code from the back of the manual. I'd imagine you all have EA Sports World accounts from NHL at least. Once you're online with the game, the franchise can be created and invites can be sent out.
The thing runs for up to 10 seasons, with up to 32 players. Any teams not controlled by people are controlled by the CPU. You play through just like an offline single player franchise, but with fewer options and features.
You go through a 16 game schedule, playoffs, then a draft, and repeat. You play the real NFL schedule. You're able to play 1 game at a time. The commissioner then advances to the next week of the schedule when everyone's done, or when he just decides to advance. It's all pretty simple and pretty fun.

So, how many of you have picked this up? Would like to get back into the Madden games, but like a few others, I haven't touched a football game for years (since Madden 05). I tried playing 08 but I was so lost. It seemed like it had way too many options, features and button combinations for me to figure out. But I'd seriously consider buying this to join you guys and have some fun until NHL 11 comes out.

I'm picking this up today, consider me down for this. Sounds like it could be hard to make sure every plays their games and so on so forth but I'll give it a try.
