Man am I getting tired of NHL 09's goaltending

It sucks. Easily the worst thing in the game when you play online. PLayed a guy not 10 minutes ago as the Kings...Jon Quick gave up 5 goals on 5 shots....all wrap arounds....

Everytime i see a flaw like that in a game I wonder if they product test the goaltending all that much for little bugs and tendancies like that or they just say **** it let's have 11-10 games...

The morAns at EA Sports need to have 13 year old Canadien kids find all the cheese goals and then remove them from the game. Problem solved.

Lol cheese goals are easy to stop in vs. mode. It's so much easier controlling the full team rather than in the EASHL.

What makes me laugh about the series altogether is that wraparounds have been a problem with the game FOREVER! The goalie's overall play at the posts has always been sketchy. I've been flinching when a puck gets stuck at the post for years, when it seemingly disappears and then somehow sneaks through and sits on the line and is a goal. On a side note, I always thought the puck had to cross the line but it's cool, I've scored by setting the puck on the line, can't complain.

Agreed.

And again, all it takes it a quick look at their user profile. If they are from Canada. 99% of the chance, they are going to attempt cheese goals over and over.

played against supercheese team tonight and f-me if I didn't play d at the red line the whole game, only to allow one freaking break away w 5 seconds to go for their winning goal.

and 3 tripping calls on me in a row? are you kidding me? F U EA SPORTS!

Lol at the Xx thing, so true. Pretty much anyone with a cocky name is cheese. I love when you get into a game and the other team has players with the stupidest cockiest names, I remember one dude on one of the team's name was "How'd That Make U Feel" ...and I'm just sitting there wondering if that is their real name. haha. One name that cracked me up though was Jeff Leppard. lmao
