Mass Effect
Anyone else playing Mass Effect?
Once I got the feel for how everything works - it has been extremely difficult to put the controller down. What a great game! I had high expectations for it already (was a big fan of KOTOR) and it has met them so far.
Expecting the intervention any day now....

I love this game. I'm actually on my second run through of the game and so far I haven't gotten bored, unlike Assassins Creed.

This is probably one of my all-time favorite games, after a mere couple of months. About to start a second playthrough (well, closer to my third, as I got up to the next-to-last mission the first time and restarted). Great story, great characters, and I believe far more enjoyable gameplay than the traditional "click the enemy, click your spells/skills" style of roleplaying games.

I played about 2 hours last night.
Great RPG - Best Western RPG I have ever played. I usually cannot get into them. The dialog is brilliant. The shooting is cool.
The only problem is the graphical hitches.

I played up to the first beacon and I loved the numbers of the RPG part, the conversation sections and the story(at least up to there, I liked where it was going). My main problem with the game is all the gameplay; Shooting doesn't make sense, making it into cover doesn't make sense, the HUD is awful, selecting a weapon shouldn't require you to press A on the weapon to equip it....
Lots of good things, but the combat is unplayable.
