Thread: NHL10 PS3 League

Just joined. I kind of feel guilty taking the champs. I'm sure I'll get my butt kicked anyway.

I joined up. Took the Florida Panthers.

If anyone's interested, I'll be online tonight.

Nasti and I had a good couple games. He really should've won both. I came back with like 40 seconds in the first game to tie it and won in the shootout (kind of disappointing because I thought it would be 20 minute overtimes.) I don't remember my player, but I got a 5 minute penalty and a game misconduct, so on top of Nasti getting a 5 minute powerplay where he could score as much as he wanted....I got a minor penalty for hitting him after the whistle. 5 on 3, he scored. I killed off all of the major though.

Second game was just as close, but more of a defensive game. Nasti won 2-1. I was really hoping for the comeback (I even pulled my goalie late, which I don't do often.)

A couple good games. All my games have been really close. I beat Dyvps 3-2 or something, then the 2 games with Nasti, lost to cikiri 1-0, and Edit and I were 0-0 till I disconnected. Good game guys, this is fun!

My ass is still chapped from that comeback you had. Good times.

Haha. You really deserved to win both, but I'll take the win :P

You kept hitting my players, and every time I tried to hit you, you would just move out of the way. Not even deking, litterally just moving a couple inches out of the way. It was pissing me off haha. Everybody on LGK has these moves that I always seem to fall for. Cikiri does that bending down thing to block shots. I can never do that, he lines them up perfect every time!

Yeah Cikiri is punishing on D. Was nailing me everytime I got close to the blueline. Don't know how I managed to win one against him. I'm having trouble with offense. I played Kubrick last night and thought I was doing ok but somehow managed to lose 4-0 despite outshooting him 25-15. He had more breakaways in that game than I'd given up in all the other games combined, including 2 penalty shots.

You hear me Kubrick? I want a rematch!
