I purchased 2K8 and am very happy with it. The 2K series has always brought a superior product to the table, but never made it to the mainstream.
NHL 08 hands down!
I have 2K8 - I like it, but from what I've heard NHL 08 is better. Of course, I'm not going to fork over another $60 to get it, but I'm planning to switch to EA's product when NHL 09 comes out.

However NHL '08 is so deep, it's ridiculous. I think for a real big hockey fan, NHL '08 is really a no brainer.
As someone who owns both, I would say that 2k would be better for a young kid IMHO.
NHL 08 has it all over 2K8 on the 360.
SOT: I was playing NHL 08, and during a replay, there was The Sarah Conner Chronicles ad was on the boards.
08 Is the better game but I get absolutely pissed off at some things the AI do. Theres a lot of things I don't like about it but it's the superior game.
They always include ads for Fox it seems. They were advertising The Simpson's game for awhile too.Quote:
