Nhl 08

I know I know, 09 is coming out, what am I doing starting a thread about 08? well I searched to see if anyone pointed this out and after being on page 6 of my search I quite and decided to start this thread...

so I just got NHL 08 lol! (yeah for discounted price) and I LOVE IT on my HD tv..sucks on std def tube!! So I was playing and almost CHOKED on a pretzel when I heard the announcer mention Kopitar's name. He totally botched up that name hardcore. Is there a fix for this or is everytime Kopitar touches the puck they will totally mess up his name? Let me know! Thanks!

Also is there a way to change JMFJ's number from 33 to 3?

there is a way to change johnson's number. at the first screen i think you go to my nhl 08 or something like that and edit player. you can change the number there. there is also a way to change the number in franchise too. i cant remember exactly where that function is, but fish around for an edit player menu and that willl let you change the number. im not in front of the game and it has been awhile so i hope i am right. will check tonight if i have a chance.

Lots of names are brutalized in the game, pretty funny. Dustin Byfuglien's name is among the worst, even though it's pronunciation doesn't really match up with the spelling.
