Was doing a few quick roster fixes, and EA once again puts non hockey players in the FA pool. There is a Wells Greeno-McNeil complete with bad photoshop bowl haircut. From what I can find on the net, he is a ****ing rower.

Amazing hockey game experience. The variety of goals I've scored after 4 games is mind blowing. Spin-o-ramas around D-men, dekes, top shelf slappers, mid-air deflections, legitimate trickle in off the catching glove and smart CPU defenders. Most importantly this game is fun above all else.

Anyway, I went to three main retailers today and couldn't find a single copy. Asshats. If I can't find one tomorrow, I am running people over. Best Buy can eat a dick.

I pre-ordered from Amazon and they sent me an email saying they were out of stock until September 17th. I had to drive around to 3 different stores before I found a copy. Well worth it!

Apparently Portland, Oregon has an AHL franchise now. Not that it's a big deal, but it's funny and sad at the same time. Sucks for Pirates fans.

They did get the postal abbreviation wrong...they put it as Portland, MN instead of ME.

Ersberg is in the free agency. He is rated 78 overall. Brust is a monster in the Monarchs though

So did everyone already edit their Kings roster to better reflect the true to life player ratings and equipment? I actually think they did a pretty good job rating the team. Dustin Brown finally has a high checking number and Cammalleri has a dynamite wrist shot.

I ended up giving Jack Johnson the tinted visor and the #3. Cammalleri, I gave him the jersey tucked in on the left side.

I'm really geeking out on this game.

Anxious to get this game. Just wondering if they brought back deflections back. Seemed like last year there was never a tipped goal by a guy in front. Pretty big part of the game that was totally neglected.

Earlier games the deflection was a bit ridiculous. Like for NHL, you could just slap shot with a guy with a high rating, hold down like R2, and it would be an easy goal.

But then in one of the 2K games, it was great. Slappers from the point, you wouldn't push a button but guys in front would try and deflect it in. That was ideal.

But last year I think it was completley gone. Are there deflection goals this year? Holmstrom type tips is what I'm talking about basically.
