I see someone else (who is not a fan of them) took my Red Wings!!!!! That should be a criteria..I will give OP his Ducks since he has a chubby for them just like I have my chubby for the Wings

You might still get be able to get the Wings. I'm working diligently with high level engineers at MIT to develop a formula to assign the teams in a fair manner based on some sort of variable, especially considering that it seems everyone's first choice is in the West...

We just have two more spots to fill. If you're up for it, go ahead and post your preferred teams and we'll see how it works out.

Just to clarify my first choice isn't the Western team(Flames) just picked them cause it was the first one to come to mind. Give me either one and I'll be fine.

I decided I'd set the tournament up based on our rankings on Xbox Live, which are:

I then plugged everyone into the following tournament tree, which is similar to the one used in tennis to give the top ranked players the best draw:



Again, this is a disturbingly precise formula developed by the highest minds at MIT, so no complaints. It's as fair as I could get it.

I'll post a link to the official tournament thread here in a bit.

I'm ready to start today, and I'll PM everybody with a reminder and let you know what team you got and who your first series will be against.
