Thread: NHL 09 (360) LGK Tournament Interest?

I tried this last year but it unfortunately grinded to a standstill after a pretty decent start...

Now that we have a bunch of us who have been online several times on the same team, is anyone up for a old-fashioned head-to-head LGK tournament?

Will be a nice compliment to the EASHL LGK games, and the head-to-head games go much much quicker than those ones too.

We could limit it to 8 people and come up with strict rules regarding games not played on time (which is why last year's tournament broke down...) Might even give preference to those with more posts, just as a precaution, or at least verify that games have been played in the EASHL... Each of us would select a team (no Kings allowed), with rounds being best 2 of 3, and finally get somebody's name on that stupid cup I so lovingly photoshopped.

We'll use this thread to get a measure of the interest and to develop the rules for the tournament.

I'd be down to play. The only sticking point would be that i have to sort out my network problems (it's plenty fast, but it's wireless and it doesn't seem to be able to keep a stream up for very long. I get booted out of like 2/3 of the games i play. If i can fix it, i'm in for sure.
