In NHL 08, when I play Tampa Bay, I always switched to Kings' Vintage jersey. The TB and LA jerseys look too much alike and get's a little confusing.

I just played 2 games with Team LGK. We lost one in OT and the other in a Shootout =\
The 3rd LGK game... it was me, evilchipmunk, and clawdog. We originally had dousk but something happened and he vanished from the connection screen.
Clawdog was LW. I was Right Defense and evilchipmunk was Left Defense.
We went up 1-0 quickly with evilchipmunk getting one of the assists and the computer scoring for us.
I think in the 2nd period, we tried to play "passive" and not make turn overs. We ended up giving in 2 goals. One was when evilchipmunk and I both screened our goalie or something... and the puck hit no one but the back of the net. =\ The other one was on a clear breakaway I think.
3rd period, we battled back and scored another goal. I think Clawdog might have had that sick looking assist to the computer. Claw got 10 PIM that game though, it was funny.
OT. We didn't have many chances to score, but evilchipmunk got an unfortunate penalty with 1:30 left in OT. Off the faceoff, they scored instantly, so that sucked.
The 4th LGK game... it was me, evilchipmunk, Clawdog, and dousk.
Clawdog was LW. I was Right Defense again and evilchipmunk was Left Defense. This time we had dousk at center.
1st period - Quick start. I manged to shoot the puck from the point and our RW computer guy picked up the rebound and scored. The 2nd goal was a nice pass from evilchipmunk to Clawdog, who made a behind the back pass to dousk for the goal! I think it went like that, but it was very sweet looking.
2nd period - Again, we tried that "passive" thing. Didn't work too well. The other team had 3 guys rush the net at one point, and I tried to get in the way, but the puck hit the top right corner and scored. The 2nd goal, it was just a sloppy breakaway goal we gave up.
3rd period - We played more aggressive again and had one huge breakaway chance late in the game. Dousk took a hard slap shot during that breakaway but we couldn't score.
OT - Not much going on here. I forgot to mention that the other team got like 20-30 offsides during this game. It's ridiculous.
Shootout - They scored with their 3rd and final shooter :( That was it.

So our record is... 0-2-2 I'm guessing? It doesn't seem to be updated right now since evilchipmunk and I were looking at the Club Rankings and we were 0-0-0. Maybe it takes a day to update.
This is nuts though, some teams already played 50+ games. I don't see how this League standing will work out at the end.

Wow. That was fun. If I didn't take so many penalties it would have been better. Anyone who hasn't played this mode needs to soon, it is awesome.

As bad as the computer AI goalie is, he can't be any worse than Manny Fernandez in NHL 08.
Last night (game 4) was a BLAST - thanks TooCool, evilchipmunk, and Clawdawg, I'm just sorry my headset quit working and I couldn't communicate with you guys. At least we didn't lose in regulation or OT, and the the goal that the guy scored in the SO was sick.
Well, I am buying a new headset today on the way home from work, and will more than likely be on most of the night. I also think it's safe to say that Team LGK will get their first win tonight.
Can someone send me a friend request? I'm getting the game tonight, and once I get the friend request, I'll message you guys for an invite to the team :)
