Yeah, although that cross ice goal is still too much of a money play IMO.

I shouldn't have been so excited about the patch. Curve shots were 4-for-6 against us tonight.

That's okay. You can just score a few regular goals or curve shot them back right? Wrong. Every shot is either way wide or right into the goalie's chest. Shot power has been completely gimped. Scored a nice backhand garbage goal thanks to the Left Trigger, but it's pretty much what I heard it would be...all one-timers. That is, until you lose on two consecutive curve shot game-winners.

Epic fail.

Yeah L trigger is awesome for mucker goals, and no more stupid cross checking penalties while trying to shoot.

A funny note - the new record for the longest game in LGK history is 10:00 into the 4th overtime period. We pulled out a 2 - 1 victory with 80 shots on net. Good times!!!

Chartrand - are you ever coming back to Team LGK? I miss you back there on D.

3 goals in the final 8 minutes of the 3rd period to go up 3-2 was pretty epic as well. until we somehow had to play a 4th period afterwards...

Think I'm taking an NHL break for a little bit. The guys I play with right now don't stick to one thing very long. They're probably moving on to Gears or CoD5. If that's the case, I'm definitely back in.

That was bizarre - at least we held on for the W. We should be at .500 hockey by the end of the week.

I'll be on after the the Kings game tonight - hopefully we can get some more people online tonight than we usually have.

how do i find in the options how to play on a team....everytime i play its just me controlling the whole team.
