Try experiment with other sticks.

Why do players insist on playing goaltender when they are the suck? Then have the balls to blame their D? Had that happen to me yesterday, isn't my fault you gave up 5 goals on 13 shots. 4 of them the goalie was out of position.

Better than the few idiots I play with in pickup OTP games.

People pick goalie. After they let in 1 goal. They run out of the net intentionally 5 more times before they quit.

I was so pissed when I was hovering around a -3 rating. Then I shot up to -17 or something after 2 games like that. Now it's back to the -7 to -9 area. Trying to get into the positives.

I've played 20 games or so since the patch, guess I've won 16 of them or something. You actually get rewarded for having patience now, moving the puck around alot, just the way i like it.

The only thing they should fix now is the cheap goal alot of ppl in the higher ranks do everytime. Havin the puck a little bit out of the goalies left post, take one skate forward, one backward and then place the puck high. The goalie almost ALWAYS fall for that move. It's soooo annoying when players try do do that same move the whole fooking game. The thing is, players that do that is very often people in the higher ranks. I dunno about you but I wouldnt enjoy the game if I was playing like that.

Oh, and I've played Ersberg every game! They really need to do something about his rating though, 66, come on!

I've been playing Ersberg lately too. Even though his rating is much lower, I'm winning more with him in net.

Have one forward skate to past the goal line on 1 side, and cross ice pass to someone on the opposite end crashing the net.

I play as a defenseman, so I personally have no problem poke checking it away. The only thing I hate though, is that people do it so much... and when it does work, it works 100% of the time.

A few times I tried to poke check it away, I actually poked it in for them =\

Ok, but I'm talking 1vs1, not BAP

One thing I never get is why they dont do the one-timer more of a timing skill. If the puck comes at you, you have to draw the stick backwards and then forward just as it is in position. If you dont time it correctly, you will go very wide or just miss the puck.
As it is now you see the pass coming, do the "shot stick-move" before the pass reaches you and BANG you get a good one-timer.

hehe No, learned a bit of Swedish before traveling there a few years ago... I'm terrible at it now.

When there, I was able to get by about 75% of the time speaking Swedish. Nowadays, I'm lucky to remember "Hej" and the ever-useful "Jag förstår inte." My proudest moment was getting through an entire meal at Pizza Hut in Stockholm without saying one word in English.

Swedes are incredibly patient and kind when it comes to Americans pretending to be Canadians pretending to speak Swedish.
