I don't know how online is, but offline, goalies were pretty difficult to beat excepting the 4-5 set shots you know could beat him. The latest patch which started letting in more point shots, between pads, etc... has been great. I'd hate to see them get significantly more difficult again. Eliminating cheese goals though, that's always a plus (spin-o-rama top shelf in the crease anyone?).

Co-op online modes would be great, my friend and I would love to hack away at our dynasty playing online.

International dynasties would be beautiful, but I don't see it happening.

Bring back more stats during the games!

And please stop recycling the 08 (and now 09) Gary Thorne and Bill Clement dialogue.

TC- The divison thing is BS. I was looking for the PS3 team's divisonal stats against other teams, and we had played the most games by far, most goals...etc. Not saying just cause you play more, you should be higher, but the whole thing is just out of whack lol.

Oh yeah, no kidding. That's why the cheaters and cheesers are always making new teams. Because when they're 15-0 or whatever, they'll instantly be a Top 5 division team.

Whereas for us (on the Xbox 360 side), with almost 300 wins and 160 something losses, we're always hovering around Division 8-10.

Well, the 4-5 set shots you know that would beat him... that would be the cheese goals

I think the most ideal thing they could put in a hockey game is to mix it up constantly. They need to make certain teams play a certain style, just like their real life counterparts. But for as long as I can remember, it's the same thing every time.

That would be pretty darn cool. It's like online team play but you guys are actually going through a season and trying to win the Cup.

Yep. They could always add it in, but they'll probably choose not to, because they don't want to give us the ultimate game.

Agreed. They finally added in the number of goals throughout the season in offline play... I'm still waiting for them to add total assists in offline play.

Also, when the game is loading or whatever... it would be cool to put the stats of the two goalies head to head. Along with the stats of all the lines for fun comparison and such.

We still have the 2008 "Cop-it-ter" and now the 2009 "Kopitar". All we need is a 2010 "Ko-pee-tar"

It was better before but EA contracted all the divisions a few months ago so now our opponent could come from any division.

I would love it if they fluffed the presentation next year. I remember one of the games from the late 90s/early 00s where before the game started they zoomed in on the arena where the game was taking place, I thought that was awesome. Making the crowd more interesting, improving the arenas, more ice chatter by the players, etc. I just like a lot of the novelties. I do like custom soundtracks though, that will be fun to play around with for sure.

I like all the ideas you had... I think the gameplay right now is great and I dont know that they should tinker with it too much... some of the presentation stuff you mentioned would be great though. And include the photo game face for BAP!

if only they could integrate EHM's GM's and coaching into the dynasty mode...

New goalie animations that eliminate crease shot goals.
4 on 4s will finally have the center take the faceoff.
Fixed line changes with forward / defense at the same time.
