Your Welcome.
Here is a new blog about the demo for NHL10
A Demo Like None Other | EA SPORTS
One thing I ask for that I know they won't do...
Is when you pick the option for "always up" then you should litterally be always going up...as in skating toward the top of your tv. Always down should be always down, as in skating towards the bottom of your tv. I don't give a **** about whether I'm at home or not, I shouldn't have to change the option every other game!
Freaking lame. There is going to be DLC for this game. I knew it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Here's what the article writer said:
I mean it's good that you're not FORCED to buy it and that you can earn it in the game. But a lot of people who have extra cash to spend will just take the easy route and do this to gain an early advantage. From what I've seen, the toughest piece of equipment is the gold helmet which forces you to play at least 40 games with your created player in three NHL seasons. That's a ton of hockey. Luckily for me I can just use my fake Microsoft Points on Partner Net (a set of test servers) to buy equipment. On retail systems each booster and piece of equipment will run you 240 Microsoft Points if you don't want to take the hard road and earn them for yourself.
We're already paying 60 bucks for the game. But now companies will try to make even more by making you pay a few extra bucks here and there.
Just look at Halo 3 and how many "map packs" they have. =\

Got a chance to screw around with the demo for a couple of hours. Played on All-Star/Hardcore settings.
-The pace is much slower, and there is a little bit more to acceleration in the past. There's supposed to be a more drastic difference between scrubs and stars and at least when it comes to speed you can notice it....especially, say, dumping the puck and having Hossa charge in before a defenseman can get his momentum going. You're not up to speed as fast as before, but once you are you can get around guys still trying to get into third or fourth gear.
-Passing is going to take some getting used to and will be probably THE major annoyance in the demo, but the few setups I was able to manage are a bit more rewarding now.
-Goalies are good, a little quicker to their feet after desperation saves, but they will be beat more from outside shots. It also seemed easier to get quality deflections.
-Fighting still isn't my cup of tea.
-Shot fake looks pretty cool especially when you go right into a backhand and roof it. Saw players grab the puck from mid air, attempted a couple of bat-ins but missed them both.
-Curve shot shouldn't be a problem anymore, however I hear it is still easy to score on wraparounds.
-Board play is pretty neat. Doesn't feel lame or at this point exploitable for any reason.
-Defensive AI appears to be better. I had a couple chances to drive around the defenseman and get a good shot on net but I have to believe they won't just be an escort service this time around.
-Oh, expect to lose the puck when trying too many dekes and spinoramas if you're not much of a dangler.

Alright....got a couple games of normal mode in, and it felt pretty damned good.
The difference between normal and hardcore is that in normal mode, passing is still more responsive to direction than 09, but the game adjusts pass speed for you (whereas you control that in hardcore). The game's a little faster in normal mode too. You won't feel gimped by staying with the simpler scheme and if that's what the EASHL is going to use, I wouldn't necessarily feel obligated to learn how to master "hardcore" passing.
