Probably won't be able to get online with this until Thursday or so, but how the hell do I start my Be a Pro with my created player? It just defaults to Javier Hartnell or some crap.

Go to the Hockey Shop and press Right Trigger a few times and it should take you to your BAP name.

So I got drafted 7th overall by the Maple Leafs in my offline BAP.

I'm going to be in for a looooooong season playing offline because the Leafs are terrible. If I go to the bench to take a break, the other team will score with ease. =\

I'm having trouble scoring myself. After playing 3 games, I just have 3 assists and a +1 rating. What I don't quite understand right now is that when I try to throw a check, I'm always the one getting knocked down.

This same thing happened in the one EASHL game I played this afternoon. I only managed to throw 3 hits total but 10+ other times, I always seem to fall over as if I got hit. And no, I'm not near the boards. I do like how the player can "crash" into the board. I know I'm not doing that. Maybe I was getting checked by people with more boost cuz of the stupid microsoft points thing.

Maybe bulk your player up?

its not that i don't think its necessary, it's more that a player pins me from the side when they're 5 feet away......and my player can not even move to the open side (he's not pinning me from the back, DIRECTLY from my side)

I was thinking that might have been the case, but I intentionally made my guy 6'2, 240 pounds just like in NHL 09. And in 09, I was destroying them.

Heck, even when I first started 09, I made my guy 5'10 and 180 pounds or whatever and he was able to hit people.

I'm pretty sure the hitting mechanics changed somewhat, but at 6'2 and 240, it's a bit odd to be falling over everytime I'm trying to throw a hit. It definitely has to be the stats or the stupid boost crap I don't have yet.

Was playing my Kings BAP....Cliche got a major and game misconduct for slashing! This game gets better and better!
