It unlocked for me for online play when I got A+, A+, A.

I believe if you get an A- in there, you're screwed for some reason.

I've gotten straight A+'s, like in the last game I played, and no achievement. I know it doesn't have to be done online, because at least one friend of mine got the achievement just for playing the prospects game.

And just 10-15 minutes ago, I actually played Byatch1979 in the online shootout mode! As he was shooting, I was thinking... "That name sounds awfully familiar!"

Why did you pick the overused Penguins though? Pfft =P

I went with Phoenix and picked LaBarbera.

Only reason I was playing it was because I still had to win 5 games or something in online shootout to unlock something... forgot what it was. I know I won maybe 2-3, but I'm terrible.

I'm getting matched with people who are only 2-8 skill levels ahead of me and they are good as hell.

Either way, the match with Byatch1979 was quite a pleasant surprise!

Offline and Online are totally different unlockables. If you do it Offline, you get a boost depending what player build you are. Online you get a +5 ss shot power or accuracy (I can't remember which one). I don't think either has gamer points tied to them.

What I am referring to is the achievement called "Grade A" (Get an overall A rating in a match with your Be A Pro character) which is worth 45 gamerscore points.

A Google searched showed me that my problem is unfortunately a common one. :(

Ah, I did get that achievement. I got it from playing online on EASHL though. And just so you know, I already got As for my offline before I got it online and it never unlocked.

So maybe it is bugged in some way. Either keep trying, or wait until EA Sports releases a patch. They're suppose to release a patch that will fix all the "bugs" in unlocking this stuff.

Personally, everyone gets the feeling that EA Sports put this glitch in on purpose to get people to buy stuff after they have gotten frustrated over trying to unlock something the hard way.

Did they do a roster update that has the opening night rosters yet?

Probably not. You might want to wait another 2-3 weeks.
