"This is for you, Kings players who have EVER worn the Kings uniform, and Kings fans wherever you may be, all the frustration and disappointment of the past is GONE! The 45 year drought is over! The Los Angeles Kings are INDEED, the Kings of the National Hockey League, the 2012 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS!" - Bob Miller

So new crowds, improved dynasty (finally), and no more tape to tape passing? Good so far.

Don't forget the fact that they also mentioned that goalies will be "better". Though they always say that and people will still find a way to get cheese goals.

Thanks for the links Jon.
I would love it if they fluffed the presentation next year. I remember one of the games from the late 90s/early 00s where before the game started they zoomed in on the arena where the game was taking place, I thought that was awesome. Making the crowd more interesting, improving the arenas, more ice chatter by the players, etc. I just like a lot of the novelties. I do like custom soundtracks though, that will be fun to play around with for sure.
Things I'd like:
-Deeper offline modes
-Custom EASHL uniforms
-Ability to go to the bench and sub with a computer so you don't have to pause
-Frequent support via patching
-Improved EASHL lobby system
-Offline BAP-style progression system instead of cards.
-Updated equipment
-Defensive AI instead of Defensive A(I?)
-As little cheese as possible
-Canadians banned from online play or at least relegated to their own pantywaste cheesing league.
That is genius. Never thought of that before.
How about no more cutscenes online? I don't mind watching goal or hit replays every once in awhile, but the cutscenes are pointless online.
I got a whole list of things I want to be improved, but EA probably won't fix a lot of things. I like the gameplay, I hope they don't mess with it too much.
That would be nice, but there would still need to be a limit on the "max stats". Some people have all the time in the world to play 1,000-2,000 games easily. Whereas some will only play 100-200 games or whatever.Originally Posted by Chartrand
Maybe after a certain amount of games or whatever EXP people get, that's all they can upgrade their characters to. You're probably referring to that anyway.
I remember it was so hard to get the damn Legend card when everyone else was running around with 99 stats overall.
The whole EASHL needs to be more organized. It would be cooler if you can actually face an opponent closer to your division instead of complete randomness.Originally Posted by Chartrand
Hopefully EA Sports can find a way to detect all the cheesers and put them in a league of their own, that would be ideal and hilarious at the same time.
