NHL 10 Tournament (Xbox 360)

I'm about to give in and buy and X-Box. My attempt to get this going on PS3 failed pretty badly, lol. It would be even better if they had some sort of thing where we can all play together on our different systems, but obviously that will never happen. I wanna know how this goes, keep me updated!

I'm really disappointed that Dexter didn't join. He's always playing this game when he's not on MW2. But I will add you guys to the list. Thanks for joining.

I figured it would be easy to find, but I guess not- do any of you know where I can find a tool to randomize seeding? I want to number us from 1-8 based on signup order and then randomly generate the first round pairings. Then Watti can make a sweet torunament bracket graphic, and we can start. :)

You can always write down our names and put it in a hat (literally). :)

Yeah, I guess I could throw those in one of my Kings hats and do that. if no one offers a better alternative by tomorrow, I guess that's what I will do.

There's probably some randomizer tool you can find online. Otherwise, yeah do the hat thing....not like we have any rankings to go off of so there's really no reason to worry about particular seedings.

RANDOM.ORG - List Randomizer

here. I just did one, just cut and paste the list you have on here of all the teams....paste in the field on this page and hit randomize and it does it for you. Then just list the games 1v8, 2v7, 3v6 etc. Baddabing.

Works for me. If no one objects, I'd like to start by Wednesday. I'll send out PM's tomorrow. But if you want to play before then, go ahead!

Both teams must report game results here. Remember, it's best of 3.

3. El Fuego vs. 6. Byatch1979

In round 2, the winner of 1 vs. 8 will play the winner of 4 vs. 5, and the winner of 2 vs. 7 will play the winner of 3 vs. 6.

EDIT: You know what? Forget the Wednesday start date. Start playing now if you and your opponent are available. Unless there are objections, I'd like for everyone to be finished with their first round matchups by midnight Sunday. You should be able to play all 2-3 games in one sitting, with it taking around an hour total. I'm going to send out PM's as soon as I post this.

EDIT 2: GAME SETTINGS- Either play ranked, or if you play unranked, leave all settings on default. Also, the higher seeded team should be the one sending out the challenge, so they'll be the home team, for games 1 and 3. Game 2 should be at the lower seeded team's building.
