Good series going so far... 3 games in, Vancouver leads 2 to 1. First two were shutouts, but then Pittsburgh came back w/ a vengeance in Game 3 to shutout the Canucks.

It's cool, man. It's the weekend, so people are doing things, I'm sure. You've all been doing a good job getting games in, so just play when you can.

I don't know what the problem is. My connection with NHL has been laggy 95% of the time since it became laggy during our game and it's really pissing me off. It's at the point where I can't even play NHL anymore, but for some reason my internet connection and Modern War 2 work as normal. I have no idea what gives. I have reset and replugged in everything 1000 X. When I play NHL online, I unhook my wireless and always plug my modem direction into the Xbox anyways. I even cleaned my system cache. The problem could be on EA's end, but I haven't read anything about increased lag problems in their forums. Any suggestions???

Hmm.. I don't know. It does sound like it could be the EA Servers. When did you try playing? I played yesterday and had no problem. But I almost always do Online Team Play and not Versus mode.. so I don't know if they're on the same servers or not.

Yeah, I had a feeling when we were playing that it was EA lag and neither of our connections. It has a different feel to it, if that makes any sense. Anyone else notice that? Not really sure what to suggest to fix it...

I know what you mean by a different feel to it. Lag usually freezes and then goes super speed to catch up. Ours wasn't doing that. It was pausing for a second or two in 5-6 sec intervals (at least it was on my end), killing all rhythm of control. The same problem has followed me to OTP (I never play versus mode either). I've tried playing during the afternoon, evening, midnight, and morning and it's plagued 95% of the games I have played. It's even affected shootouts. I haven't tried it today or yesterday and I don't really have time for Xbox today so I'll try tomorrow.

If it's still a problem then, I'm willing to concede victory to Watti since he was winning 2-0 in the 2nd in the game where this lag started.
