Also, I'm not real fond of our local Gamestops, plus they open at the same time as the mall...10am. With my work schedule this week, heading to Walmart early on the 7th works best.

Also, consider trading in your NHL 10 copy this weekend, I recently got 20 bucks for mine, add in any other games you might not want anymore and you could knock down the price of NHL 11 with the boost pack for a fair price.

Blog from an NHL 11 Software Engineer on his trials with his Ultimate team:
HUT Gameplay SE Blog: Playing My Way Up | EA SPORTS
"Since my playing style is to put my head down and grind out pucks to sustain my team, my HUT strategy has changed as my team as progressed. At first, I had a team of pluggers with a couple of decent forwards (Zach Boychuk and Scott Parse), so I loaded them up with what training cards I had, then played defensive hockey and only took chances when I had my best players out on the ice. I played a lot of single player games against the CPU initially, to help build up my base of pucks, winning a few tournaments along the way, mixed in with a few online games around the office.
Doing this, I was able to save up enough to buy a few packs from the store - mixing in Peewee packs as necessary when I needed new contracts. Slowly, but surely, my team started to improve, as I got Paul Stastny, Bobby Ryan and Brayden Schenn in consecutive packs, which really helped even out my forwards. I got a few decent defensemen along the way, no stars, but veterans like Adrian Aucoin and Brent Sopel, as well as adding Chris Osgood in goal.
With my plan of financing my own team solely through what I earn, I haven’t had the luxury of sitting out my best players or really getting great chemistry on every line, but I was able to take Schenn from a 75 to an 89 overall and he still has 3 slots left to fill. He’s the star player on my team now - since I don’t have a ton of training cards to spare, I’m really leaning heavily on solid mid-level veterans, rather than a ton of prospects."
Really makes me wish it was the 7th!
