Yeah, some of the penalties are bogus. Especially playing as a d-man... I need to contain the cherry pickers.

This guy cherry picks, I am right next to him. I poke at the puck making little contact with him and I get called for a tripping penalty. He didn't even stumble or anything either.

The passing... it's alright. It's just like NHL 10 where if you want to pass it at the guy you're aiming at, it's going to go wide. I noticed if you hold on to the RT you make a hard pass, usually too hard for people to handle. But the soft ones where you tap the RT sucks too.. Eh, I dunno... it sucks for everyone and not just me so no worries.

I asked because I like the passing on the demo. So, if it's the same, great.

Presentation wise, this game is ****ing awesome. Gameplay wise though, they took a huge step back from NHL '10 and downgraded. Hopefully there's some patches that may change some of the standards for EASHL games.

Has anyone else encountered this?


I attempt to join a Ranked OTP game, and the game takes me to a loading screen and never seems to take me to the lobby. It just sits at the loading screen with the hour glass flipping continously. Worst part about it is that I can't back out, and my only option is to keep going back to the dashboard. Extremely frusturating, I've probably gotten into 2 team play lobbies out of 40 tries.

I'm digging it, presentation is nice if a bit confusing at first.
Online Gameplay is rough so far, but I attribute that to low player attributes and a new play system.
I set up my HUT, I play much better with a locked position in this type of game.
Working the BAP for a TWD, gotta do one for a Sniper to unlock stuff.

Took a break, now back to playing!!! haha

Seems like OTP wasn't working yesterday. Just EASHL but not pickup games with random players.

I had the eternal hourglass thing when I tried to play a "Drop-In" game, which is just another name for pick-up and not the actual drop-in play we've been asking for. Damn you, EA....

The stick lift needs to be tuned down again, NHL'ers don't use that as often as some of the idiots on UT and EASHL do.
