Since someone mentioned faceoffs in response to this, I would just like to state for the record- sometimes, the timing is off. I played a lot of center before switching practically full-time to D since we had a shortage of good D-men and a surplus of centers. But, while I would win 55-60% of faceoffs in most games, sometimes the timing was just off and it was hard to win one.
In regards to everything else... YES. Just one example occurred a couple weeks ago when a friend and I joined an OTP game since our respective clubs were offline. We played D. The forwards would crash the net, even with 2 or 3 men in front of them, and never pass out to the point. By the time we got halfway through the 3rd, I started being a douche to those people, because they were acting like douches. Needless to say, we lost.
Where is that new face-off system info thing you mentioned over Xbox Live Dex? I'm an idiot and don't know where to look.

You're welcome.

It's straight out of a magazine scan from OXM.During face0ffs, for instance, the position you take going in lets you kick the puck, push the opposing centerman, turn your back to him, or slap his stick. In earlier iterations of the franchise, you knew whether you won the faceoff the instant the ref dropped the puck. Now, your jockeying could lead to your not touching the puck at all, giving your wingers a chance to snatch the rubber instead.

heh Johnson still looks old, but it is in the alpha build, so they probably will fix it.

NCAA Hockey Could Join NHL Series | pastapadre.com
NCAA Hockey 12!EA Sports and the NCAA could be close to announcing a licensing agreement that would introduce college hockey into the NHL series. Paul Kelly of College Hockey Inc. has stated that the NCAA has been in talks with EA Sports for some time now and are close to reaching that agreement. Along with college teams a deal would also include Canadian major junior teams.

Only problem, they don't allow names to be used. You can't even buy a college fb or hockey jersey with a player's name pre done on them.
