How about fixing the actual problems in gameplay? Oh yeah, it's EA. Nevermind.
Palffy, exactly. EA likes to do minor changes every year so that we continue to buy the new game as if they are game-changing. This minor league announcement is what I've been waiting forever for.

Other than glitch goals and goalie AI, what needs changing? Not that I'm discounting the importance of fixing those things, mind you.
I saw this news earlier today. More teams is cool, but I will never use them. If they had the ECHL, though, I'd be playing multiple seasons with the Reign.
we were beating a team 5-1 and got glitched paused. in the middle of a play! not sure if it makes a difference, but they had a human goalie. the winger that was trying to cheese the whole game had stopped playing - wondering if he was trying different things until they froze the game up.
oh, D and P - if you read it, that was against HCI, so screw playing them.

Gameplay Fixes Addressed for NHL 11 | EA SPORTS
Oh boy.//Defensive AI: Is there any plan to help them prevent cross crease goals?
As mentioned, we are working on improving the AI defense all around. I agree that there are some issues regarding the defensive AI and they are not limited to cross crease goals. Speaking on preventing cross crease there are two ways to look at it:
1) Making the defensive AI more challenging when you are playing against the CPU. This is definitely something we are working on as we want offline users who enjoy a challenge against the CPU to feel challenged. Again, the cross crease is a part of hockey, but we want to make it so it’s not the “go-to goal” when you are down and can always beat the CPU.
2) Making the defensive AI support you better as a user when you are trying to stop the cross crease. I know there are issues around this as well and it will be worked out by the time NHL 11 comes around.
