They posted that picture on their Facebook and I commented saying pretty much the same thing, I got a few "likes" on that comment.
EA is never going to fix cheese goals, because that's 99% of their customers right there. I'd rather they just make the cpu smarter and equal for both sides. Sick of playing EASHL when our 1 or 2 cpu players stand there like morons while the other team's cpu actually helps them in certain situations. I'm constantly getting bumped in front of their goalie, but when everyone is in our defensive zone, our RD cpu is nowhere to be found.
It also would be nice if they took care of the "2 minute rule." ...meaning that you have to hold onto the puck and **** around til the clock hits 18 minutes left (in the first period) to shoot, because if you happen to score, the other team quits with no loss. It wouldn't annoy me as much if we were cheesing, but the fact that we score realistic goals pisses me off.

I'd love to say that I won't buy this game but until Eastside Hockey Manager comes out with a new version, I'm stuck settling for EA's crap.
*sigh*...here we go again. Thanks EA!!!
Am I the only one that was excited at the prospect of steamrolling LaBarbara? Wonder if I can do that if JLB is on my team?...
Are some players total pricks? Absolutely... Is it frustrating when players try the same handful of shots over and over again? For sure, but that also helps you know what they are going to do. Shutting down cheesers is not impossible. In fact, it's an art form, and I think any hockey game is going to feel cheesy when things don't go your way. All in all NHL 2011 is a fantastic game.
I agree that teams abuse the two minute rule all time but some mechanism needs to be in place to be able to disconnect from the game without penalty if there's crazy lag. What needs to be in the next game is a way to get a unanimous vote to boot players in OTP that are purposely throwing the game. I hate it when a goalie will just leave the net to goal trade with friends on the other team, or someone gets into a hissy fit and spends the whole game offside.
Oh, my team has no problem stopping cheese goals for the most part, but it still should not be a part of the game. If they do the same move over and over, the goalie should stop it every time. Would be funny if they tried it a certain amount of times and then EA automatically boots them out and gives them a loss. That might teach them to play the game the right way.
I'm also sick of the players who abuse the deking system, when they drag the puck to impossible angles so you can't poke it away or hit them. I don't run in to those plays often, but it's more annoying than just about everything else.
