Yep, I agree. It's not my money they're wasting and they can waste their own money their own way.

From that video this is pretty much the jist of how scoring will look like for NHL 13.

- Don't bother passing with the cross crease because the goalie will anticipate it and save it.
- Instead, hog the puck and carry it into the slot using the "true skating" thing that widens the gap between you and the defender and score yourself.

I'm pretty sure I've used LT to skate backwards with the puck before in the past. When did this become new?

I don't mean to be a debbie downer, but I don't like what I saw in that clip. The gameplay looks worse than before.

Yeah seriously, whenever the player would skate backwards all the defenders would scatter away. That is gonna suck.

Also what was with that speed skating? That looked unrealistic as hell.

It looks very appealing to the cheesers though.

Yeah, I noticed that as well...the cpu defenders look even dumber than before, and that was just offline. If the past EA NHL games told us anything, it's that the cpu defense is even worse online. Not looking forward to that at all, but I don't even have a PS3 right now as it is. I got the yellow light of death about a month ago, so maybe by not being able to afford a new one...I'm saving myself the headache of playing NHL 13. lol.

I would have pre-ordered if I could play it on PC. Nope, I'm stuck with awful NHL 09.
