Thread: NHL 13 Talk

Downloading now. We'll see what all the hoopla's aboot.

Played the demo yesterday. I guess it might be that I haven't played it since the late 90's, but man am I horrible. Switched to the 1994 control style, and it was a bit better. The crowds still look as horrible as the 90s.

I got it up and running a bit ago. I do like the way the backwards skating speed has slowed down a bit. Seems more realistic. Just getting the hang of power stopping but it was more comfortable each time I played it. In the 8 games or so I played, I barely netted one. Every shot was on Broduers pads or a superhuman glove snare. Carter was able to shove one in in between Marty's skate and the post. Just don't ask if I meant to do it...haha. I played 3 separate periods my last go around and actual score was NJ 2-0 not counting the drop in score already there.

Did they fix that today? Because I was owning Quick with that last night in the free skate.

You can't compare the two...

I tried playing on true broadcast, couldn't get used to it so I went back to overhead like I usually do.
