Thread: NHL 13 Talk

Just downloaded onto the HD, still have to buy it on the 11th, probably will make a morning run to Target (5% off with my credit card is better than nothing)

I have mine pre-ordered from Amazon, so I will be on whenever it gets here on Tuesday.

Have played 9 games in drop ins...about 4 assists, and around a +8, thanks to a 10-0 win against a human goalie that stayed the entire game....OUCH One thing I have noticed is don't try to go for the big open ice hit, better off getting your stick in the way. Starting stats for defensive d aren't as nerfed as they once were, already have 70ish passing and puck control, but trying to add anything to say a wrister will cost you dearly.

I started playing as Be a GM, instead of the Kings, I figured to build a winner with the lowly Islanders. Picked up POS and Frolov off the FA list for cheap, now the Kings want Nabokov for 2 2nd round picks....going to take a bit more than that....:P

Alright, this goes out to my xbox teammates, serious question: we going to play eashl exclusively or do we want to join a gm connected league as a team too? Or have our own league? Or all the above?

My vote is the first two then when we get pissed off do league then. Or whatever lol.

I had originally pre-ordered at Gamestop, but cancelled it when my old PS3 got the yellow light of death. I just got a new PS3 on Friday and noticed I could pre-order off of the Playstation Network, which is what I did. I can hopefully download the game at midnight, hopefully it doesn't take too long because I'd like to play a few games.

Scratch that, just remembered the PS Store doesn't update til some time in the afternoon, which means I'll probably have to wait til then.

I would prefer the eashl, the gm connected I would do if we each controlled one team.

Boozehound - To be honest, I only care about the EASHL. As you already know, I don't really care for EAUHL. The GM Connected League concept sounds interesting but I really don't like 1 on 1 versus mode play. If you want, I'll be happy to join. I could use the option where I can manage/coach my team without having to play right?
