Had fun last night with the gang. I never remember when EASHL came about, but it must be at least 4 years and counting (maybe 5).
As expected, it was fun last night and will be fun until EA decides to **** it up with a tuner update. Just feel like mentioning some thoughts about the game.
- I think the Season Ticket thing is bogus. Absolutely unfair to have to play people who have no life. You know, the ones that already have more than 150 points in a matter of 4 days with a 75-80+ overall rating to boot. With that said, it's not like they're unbeatable. Our teamwork and real style of play will beat them any day of the week.
- Pokecheck. I play Defense and I think this feature is still flawed in many ways. Yeah, I can swipe the puck away from the attacking player, but too many times when I poke it from them, they magically get it back. It's just ridiculous at times and I hate it when they manage to score just because I poked it back to them.
- Hitting. So far so good. Some players still bounce off of me like I didn't touch them, but that's probably because they purchased all the boosts. Once I get my player ranked up, hopefully I can kill them on a more consistent basis. But for now, it seems like we can still throw our weight around here and there. I love it when the forwards pressure them with the hit. Sandwich anyone?
- Fighting. Can't believe I'm saying this but probably the best feature in this game. All out 5 on 5 brawl? Hell yeah. Only complaint would be the camera focusing on a certain fight only. After I'm done, I want to watch everyone duke it out, but if they're out of my screen.. I miss it. =[
That's all for now. Down with the head cheeses!!
