Finally!!! An NHL game for the Wii. I can't wait fo this to come out.

I'll be getting it whether it sucks arse or not.

I was resisting getting a Wii, this may cause me to cave in and buy one.

At least the forwards will forecheck and not sit back when the guy has the puck behind his own net. And we know it will get "chippy" if you start pasting the other team's guys.

Unemotional players leads to boring Hockey and at least 2K has the emotional part down.

Thank God. I've been lamenting EA's refusal to release NHL 09 for the Wii, despite their previous statement that they would support the Wii in full, and the fact they've already released or announced plans to release their other major sports franchises on the Wii. Then again, they said the same thing about offering full support for the Mac, and to date the EA Sports site shows Madden 08 as the only title available for the Mac.

At least this means I have options other than the GameCube version of NHL 06 for playing NHL hockey on the Wii.

I will be crashing someone's house come this fall.

So remind me... who here has a Wii and going to get the game?

I find real hockey funner, and NHL 09.
