Is it really still this hard to get a Wii? I got mine like a 2 months after launch and I wasn't even trying...
You were just lucky then.
Most of the people who are buying these Wiis are greedy re-sellers. Which is unfortunate for most common people who want to play the system and its games. Nintendo could obviously care less about the re-sellers since their consoles are being purchased either way.
I, myself... still don't have the Wii, because it's ridiculous to think it's still hard to get after a year already. I didn't get it during launch and didn't pre-order because there weren't any must-get type of games for me. I've never waited in line for a launch console, and I certainly won't wait in line to get one after one damn year.
I was waiting for Galaxy and Smash Bros. Galaxy came out in November... and Smash Bros got pushed back from December to February... and now March. I'll admit, I have lost some interest in the Wii because of this "shortage".
But either way, thanks for the heads up. I'm sure it'll be helpful for those here on LGK who still want/need one :)
I got my eyes on the 80GB PS3/MGS4/DualShock3 combo coming in June. Although I wouldn't mind playing No More Heroes and RE4 on Wii.
Ugh. My Wii is collecting dust. I haven't used it since November.
What a waste of money. BTW, No More Heroes blows.
I want to sell this damn thing.
PS3, FTW! That thing kicks ass.
Depend on what store you go to? Great, that mean that the newest store won't have it. It seem that whenever there a good sales on games or movies, they only have 1 left when the store first open.
i love the Wii. Game party is the **** when ur drunk(darts, shuffleboard, air hockey, trivia) fun stuff.
