Thread: ***Official GTA IV***

Well... I gave in and bought this game. GREAT game. So far so good! I had so much trouble fighting early in the game though, it didn't tell you how to lock in the target to punch and kick early... so when I tried to fight some old guy, he beat me up because all I knew how to do was shove... lol

I got about 7% through the game before the game froze for me on the 360 when I went "home". Weak stuff... good thing there is auto save so I can return to wherever I left off.

The only reason I went "home" as well was to sleep... because my character hasn't slept in like 4-5 days. It doesn't matter anyway does it?

Ok, is it just me, or is it really hard to find **** to do that's not related to the story? I've found one insane jump and I've been playing for like 7 hours now. And are there really no rampages? Weak.

I apparently scared Michelle... I took her out on like 5 dates. I had a horrific accident that destroyed my car... so I went ahead and car jacked someone. Hell, she even pulled the passenger guy out (which was funny), but then left because she was scared.

Now she won't go out with me anymore.

Is maintaining a relationship key to the game? The "dates" were probably my least favorite aspect of GTA: San Andreas.

I did manage to find an orange glowing pigeon sitting around in a park somewhere, so I shot it and it said "199 flying rats left in the city" or something like that. So I guess you have to find all of them, kinda like the hidden packages

pretty sure you get perks for dating someone long enough

i've been playing this for a while now and the only problem i've had is that it took about 10 minutes to load up the first mission you do for vlad (360). the only reason i didnt turn it off was cuz i wasnt sure if the game autosaved and i hadnt saved at all since the first mission lol, but now i now it autosaves.
this game is insane! totally worth the 65 bucks.

The pigeons are what replaced the Hidden packages.

I read from a forum somewhere that you get certain bonus "perks" if you do stuff with the people on your phone list. Could be dates as well probably!

I believe if you take the time to go out drinking or whatever with Little Jacob, you can get discounts on weapons as a bonus. So it's the little things really I believe.
