RECAP: Ottawa controlled the majority of the game by netting five unanswered goals. And going into the 3rd period, Tampa Bay finally broke the shut out by netting a power play goal. The Lightning controlled the majority of the third period but it would be too late as The Lightning could not net another goal. Then with thirty seconds left Ottawa netted an insurance goal to make the final score 6-1.

RECAP: Tampa Bay got an early power play goal but Ottawa’s Spezza answered right back with a shorthanded goal. But one minute later Tampa Bay got another PP goal to make it 2-1. Another PP goal by Stamkos and another goal by Malone stretched the lead to 4-1. They never looked back as Ottawa kept taking bad penalties and Tampa Bay controlled the rest of the game by defeating the Senators 6-2 and evened the series 1-1.

RECAP: This game was a lot closer than the previous two. Comrie, left alone in front of the net, made it 1-0 with seven seconds left in the 1st period. Then Tampa Bay tied in the second period from a good shot right in the slot. Then with less than five minutes remaining in the game Dany Heatley got a clutch goal by receiving a pass that passed by two defenders and netted a one-timer top shelf. But Ottawa took a penalty with two minutes left and with a good penalty kill, the Lightning took a penalty with less than a minute to go which Ottawa made no mistake and held on to the puck until the final buzzer sounded and Ottawa triumphed 2-1.

Gokings 71 was a very good opponent and although the first two games seemed like blow-outs, the series was pretty much even as you can tell from the third game. Now on to the Stanley Cup Finals! Luckyluc20 and KingHenrik I'll be waiting for you!
