cross traffic won our series 2-1...man khabibulin was a beast in all 3 games, and lundqist...not so much. and i dunno wat happened in game 1 where i had my goalie pulled for half of the second period. good games. man im already out....this sucks.

I'll update the tournament tree tonight. Hoping to get at least my first game if not the whole series in with Matt Young tonight.

Anyone else get started yet?

Just finished game 1 with Watti. He was the best opponent I have played yet on NHL 09. The game was a brutal battle with tons of hits and quite a few potential goals robbed on both ends. We were separated by 1 shot in the overall total, and each killed the other's power play once.

It ended up going to a shootout at 0-0. Watti scored on the second shot, and I ****ed up my 3rd, not even getting the shot off. But I probably wouldn't have made it anyway. I suck at shootouts.

Great game, and the better man clearly won. It was a pleasure playing such a skilled opponent. Hopefully it happens 2 more times, and not just one.

Awesome game, Matt! I'm surprised I got that many shots off, your defense is like a brick wall. These are exactly the type of games that online is good for. No cheesy play whatsoever, it actually seemed like a hockey game Could have gone either way, and this one is probably headed to 3 games...

I had a good practice match with Hexisland. Didn't get the stats though, I didn't turn on the option for it to send to my email for that game.

He scored a PP goal in the 1st period. I think I got a PP goal as well in the 2nd period. Then in the 3rd period I scored with 8 minutes or so left. But it was fun. He had lots more scoring chances though, but luckily... Garon was a brick wall just for that game.
