Thread: ***The Official NHL 09 Tournament Thread***

I'm gonna try and run a cable from our router to my box; it's on the other end of the house, but i may be able to pull it off for a few hours.

If not, i may just go to my buddy's house and use his wired connection. I'll probably be over there Sunday night after the Meet the Players thing, so if you'll be around we can do it then.

Either way don't think we should count the first game. It'd be one thing if i was up 2-0 in the 3rd, but there was still more than half the game left. I'd be willing to start new if i can get it working again.

Oh wait, I misread TooCool's post. Yeah, if the buzzer at the end of the 3rd didn't sound, the first one doesn't count. I'll fix the tournament graphic.

Alright kids, it's time to get this first round in. The only person I haven't heard from for a while is KingTrekHead... I sent him a PM and if I don't hear anything back, I'll need to make some executive decisions. Let's get this thing going again.

Hey TooCool, let's try this thing again tonight. I wasn't able to get a hard-wired connection (i figure i would need about 50' worth of cable; no thanks), so let's just hope that it decides to work for us. If not, then a forfieture may be necessary. I'll be online all night (i've been separated from my box for a week now, so it's time for some angry make-up playing), and probably all tomorrow night too ( i have a problem, i know).

Unfortunately, I can't play today since I have a bunch of chores to take care of this afternoon when I get off of work. Plus tonight, we play the Leafs at Staples... so I'll be there as usual.

Unless I see you online at (midnight), chances are... we're not going to get a game in =x

Maybe tuesday night after the Kings/Coyotes game perhaps?

Will likely be introducing a new participant to the tournament tonight... looks like this is going to get past this first hump.

Had to pull the trigger on this one... HawkeyeXP has now officially replaced KingTrekHead due to non-response. Their teams may change, but let's go ahead and get this round finished and move on to the 2nd.
