Same thing on Xbox 360 right now. $5 a month/$60 a year. Amazon/Ebay constantly have deals year round where you buy the 1 year subscription code for $40 or less. You never pay Microsoft directly or buy it in full price at Target/Gamestop/Walmart/etc because they'll charge you $60. Does Playstation Plus handle the code in the same manner?

Wow ! Sony really surprised me. I could have sworn they were going to bust some MS crap with the DRM. I'm still going to wait but I know what I'm getting.

I can't wait to have both systems. DRM doesn't bother me at all since I buy only a few games a year and always new.
